HISTORY - Built alongside the C6 Corvette in Bowling Green, the XLR-V was Cadillacs bold entry into the luxury performance roadster segment. The XLR is built on the GM Y platform, which is shared with the Corvette. It shares its basic architecture, including the hydroformed main chassis rails, with the Corvette, though it features its own unique engine, bodywork, interior, and suspension settings.
